A new year with new website!
For the first blog post of the year, I decided to open with a project that its idea initiated around 20 years ago. A project that started it’s physical production a few months ago and is still in the process of becoming.

As with each of my art projects, this one talks contemplate perception. This time utilizing a series of portraits.
The end goal is an exhibit of portraits when the viewer is asked to gaze at each of a subject and decide about the identity of that person “stands” in, in more specific way whether the subject he is looking at is Arab or Jewish.
The point is for one to see how one personal perception changes when he is or she seeing the person photographed in these two different “lights”.
My hope with this project is to use this heavy emotional load to guide us to love by simply reminding us that we are all humans.
Since I started this project, many had told me that it is a great project, but since we are at days of war I should stop all action and put it in my “future project” drawer. It makes sense that during these times it is the hardest for man or women to hear that the enemy is just like you, a human being.
But somehow last year, despite of ongoing war, sirens, rockets and the poor hostages that are still help by the enemy (100 as for writing this words) I\ decided to face the challenges and start working on this project. At the beginning of the year I did a photoshoot and had a great success.
We are currently planning another few days this coming weeks.
